In 1991 Pipeline Resources acquired the Northwest Greta lease located in Victoria County . The lease is comprised of 128 acres. The first developmental well was drilled to test the presence of the Miocene sand.

The well came on as a successful gas well and to date has produced, uninterrupted, about 2 BCF of gas from one zone. The well is currently flowing at a rate of 575 MMCF per day.
