Keeran "A"
Pipeline Resources has a leasehold interest in the Keeran A & B tracts totaling 680 acres. The tracts lie along the trend of the very prolific Placedo -East and Placedo-Keeran anticlinal ridge. Previous exploration on the acreage has delineated multiple productive sands ranging in depth from 3900-7100 ft. Of particular interest on the acreage is the potential of several Catahoula gas reservoirs located at 3900-4000 ft. and several lower Frio oil and/or gas reservoirs at 6900-7100 ft. The initial test well was drilled and had 5 zones that were productive. The well is currently producing from a thin Frio oil sand.
The lease is currently producing from one productive well with daily rates of 12 BOPD and 100 MMCF per day. Pipeline Resources has yet to perforate the best zone in this wellbore , which is a gas sand at 4800 ft.
